Flora and Fauna
Kashmir valley comprises about more than 3000 species of trees and plants. The plants of the western side are well known for their medicinal properties it is a storehouse of medicinal and aromatic plants, which are used in pharmaceutical and perfume industries as raw materials. It includes 55 species of important medicinal and aromatic plants.
The fauna of Kashmir is diverse due to its unique location and climatic conditions. About 16% of the country’s mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and butterflies are present in this valley. Kashmir valley is home to about 75-species of mammals, besides several sub-species, belonging to 54 genera, 21 families, and 8 orders. Hangul and Snow Leopard that surviving there from times unknown. We can see many more fascinating and exquisite forms of life in many national parks and sanctuaries that are present in the valley.
Smoking, use of alcohol and narcotics of any description is strictly prohibited during the course of the program.

Any YHAI member above 18 years old can join. Any person who is desirous to join this program can book and can take YHAI membeship at the time of reporting.

By Air: Ernakulam (Cochin) & Madurai.
By Train: Aluva (Ernakulam) & Madurai.
By Road: Munnar is well connected with Ernakulam, pondi and Aluva.

What Participants should bring along:
Things personal, Rainsheet, personal medicines, cotton shirts, cotton pants, bedsheet, shoes, two pair of socks, water bottle, lunch box, mug, plate, tumbler, toilet set, cream & firstaid kit.
For offline Cancellation: Your cancellation request should be sent to the state office as per the criteria.
Cancellation Policy :
1) You will get 50% refund of the participation fees if you will unable to join the program. The request must be received by us through email or any written mode or online before 10 days from your reporting date. After that no request of cancellation will be applicable if request received less than 10 days prior to your reporting date.
2) YHAI is not liable to pay any personal travelling expenses to the participant in case of any cancellation of the program.
3) In case YHAI cancel the program last minute due to govt. permission, issue or any natural, participant will get 100% refund. But in case of participants cannot claim any travel amount, they incurred.
4) No credit shell will be given in any case.
5) No transfer of admission to any other state or national programmes will be provided.
