Breif Description Of The Program: Seven Lakes Trek from Anini is a Moderate to Difficult trek through the grasslands, dense forests, alpine highlands and rocky hills of Upper Dibang Valley, not very far from the Tibetan edge. You’ll get to enjoy the lakes once you cross the dense rainforests but crossing the first hurdle itself takes some serious effort. It’s only for the most Hardcore Trekkers who are adventurous and are 100% physically fit at more than 13500 Feet above Sea Level.
As Dibang is under the administration of Arunachal Pradesh Government, our programme is totally depended upon the terms & conditions of the then prevailing situation. On contacting at Ministerial level they have assured to support us if any problems arise.
Day Wise Schedule:
Day 1 : Reporting At Tinsukia, Assam (20th October, 2024).
Day 2 : Tinsukia-namsai- Parasuram Kund-roing (21st October, 2024).
Day 3 : Roing- Mayudia Pass- Anini (22th October, 2024)
Day 4 : Anini- Emuli Grassland- Trekking Starts – To Camp I (23rd October, 2024).
Day 5 : To Camp II (24th October, 2024).
Day 6 : To Camp III, Lake 1(25th October, 2024).
Day 7 : To Camp IV, Lake 2, 3 & 4. (26th October, 2024).
Day 8 : To Lake 5, 6 & 7 And Back To Camp IV (27th October, 2024).
Day 9 : Return To Camp Ii Bypassing Camp III (28th October, 2024).
Day 10 : Return To Anini By Passing Camp I And Emuli Grassland – Trekking Ends (29th October 2024).
Day 11 : Anini To Hunli To Sally Lake To Rowing To Tinsukia (30th October 2024).
Day 12 : Tinsukia, Call Off After Breakfast. (31st October, 2024).
Who Can Participate? Only members of YHAI above the age of 18 years, can participate with a medical certificate due to high altitude travelling ( highest we shall pass through 13,700 ft above sea level) Participants have to bear all travel expenses from their place to the base camp at Tinsukia and back from base camp after the program is over.

How To Reach The Base Camp: To reach Tinsukia
BY Train: You can easily get regular trains to Tinsukia from other major cities of the country. Your destination station would be New Tinsukia Junction. Shared Autos are available to all places in Tinsukia.
By Air: Dibrugarh Airport known as Chabua Airport is located at Mohanbari, distance about 41 km to Tinsukia, Assam, India. Dibrugarh is one of the main cities in Assam and is well routed via airlines to all major cities in the country. Direct flights from Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Guwahati, and other certain parts of the country to the Dibrugarh airport are also regularly operated. Some of the main airlines operating at the airport are Jet Airways, Indigo, Jet Konnect, and Air India. Taxi for pick and drop services are also available in Dibrugarh Airport to anywhere in Tinsukia @Rs.550 to Rs.750 Per person.
By Bus: Tinsukia is also well connected by bus services from Dibrugarh Town throughout the day and even day and night services are available from Guwahati ISBT.
We start the journey to Roing the next day early morning the day after reporting at Tinsukia base camp.

Accommodation Facilities: Guest House Accommodation On Sharing Basis With Separate Arrangement For Ladies.
Food & Water Supplies: Nutritious And Sumptuous Food With Bottled Water Will Be Provided. However We May Have To Use Natural Stream Water During Trekking At High Altitude. Breakfast, Lunch And Dinner With Occasional Tea, Snacks And Fruits Will Be There. Moreover Participants Have To Bear In Mind That At High Altitude Providing Tea On Regular Basis May Not Be Possible. It Is Always Safe To Carry Chlorine Tablets For Drinking Natural Water.
What Participants Should Bring Along:
For Indian Nationals: Inner Line Permit (Ilp) Is Necessary To Enter Arunachal Pradesh, Which Can Be Done Easily, Online From Your Place Or We Can Also Make It At Guwahati In Advance, If Documents Are Provided To Us. Special Permission Is Required To Visit Bumla Pass, Bordering China, Which We Shall Procure From Tawang Local Authority, If The Situation Is Normal At Bumla. We Need To Take Separate Cabs With Arunachal Pradesh Registration From Tawang To Visit Bumla Pass. If By Chance We Do Not Get Permission To Visit Bumla Pass Due To The Prevailing Situation There, We Can Go For An Alternative Picturesque Place Zemithang Valley – Lumla From Tawang.
Protected Area Permit (Pap) For Foreign Nationals Is Required To Visit Arunachal Pradesh And Foreign Nationals May Not Be Permitted To Visit Places Like Bumla Pass. A Pap Can Be Obtained From All Indian Missions Abroad And The Foreigners’ Regional Registration Offices (Frros) In Delhi, Mumbai And Kolkata.

Safety & Security: First aid and basic medical assistance shall be provided. Participants are advised to take personal insurance cover before joining the expedition. The, yhai assam state branch and its guwahati unit will not be responsible for any accidents, illness or any such unforeseen eventualities. We also assure you that all possible care will be taken to ensure your safety and comfort.

The itinerary is a guide, which we shall adhere to as far as reasonably possible, but it may be necessary to change them as a result of circumstances or various situations beyond our controll such as weather, early darkness, road conditions, time available, etc. for the safety and wellbeing of our participants.

Medical certificate is compulsory which you have to submit at the time of reporting.
Special casual leave: the programms organised by youth hostels association of india has the approval of d.o.p.t, govt. of india, for special casual leaves and reimbursement for participating central govt. employees. this option may be taken advantage of after proper clarifiction at official level.
Cancellation: In case, any member is unable to participate, please apply in writing or email to state secretary at least one month before the schedule date, 50% of the amount excluding on-line charges will be refunded. Any request received after the last date of cancellation will not be considered. The amount to be refunded will be done after the end of the entire progrmme of the state.
