Breif Description Of The Program : The Talakona waterfall is in Sri Venkateswara National Park, Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh in India. With a 270 feet fall, Talakona is one of the highest waterfalls in the Andhra Pradesh state. Talakona is also known for the Lord Siddheswara Swamy Temple.
Purpose: Purpose of the trekking expedition is to promote ECO & ADVENTURE TOURISM in the Eastern Ghats Seshachalam region, with greater adventure and sense of love for Nature, Aiming at promotion of National Integration.
 
Day wise Schedule:
Day 1(15.11.2024) Friday: Report at Base Camp Talakona Forest Gust House before 10 AM. Orientation & Instructions. After lunch trek to Nelakona 3kms & return to Forest Gust House – Night Halt.
Day 2 (16-11-2024) Saturday: After breakfast, with pack lunch – Trek to Talakona Water Falls ?7 kms & return to Forest Gust House -Night Halt.
Day 3 (17-11-2024) Sunday:Trek in and around Talakona. Valedictory (Old Siva temple, Cinema shooting spots etc).

Group breaks after lunch. Trek Ends.

 
Who Can Participate? It?s a moderate Trek, all age groups who crossed 12 years may participate, there is leisure time for middle age and family

Medical Aid Adequate Medical Aid is kept at various camps. However you are advised to bring your personal Medical Kit to meet emergencies.

 
Safety & Security :

Extensive and pains taking preparation has gone into the planning of the Trek route. Our experienced field staff and camp leaders have been visiting the area to check all the details. While every care has been taken to ensure your safety & health, the YHAI, AP State Branch

Cannot be held responsible for any accident, and illness such other unforeseen eventualities.

Cancellation Rules:

In case you are unable to join the trek after paying the participation fee, you will get a refund of Rs 2,600- provided your written request is received directly in the office of YHAI Andhra Pradesh State Branch or by Email to ?apstateyhai@gmail.com? on or before 1st November 2023 before 5.30pm. No refund will however, be admissible for.

Cancellations received after 1st Nov 2024. SMS/ Phone calls or Whats App shall not be considered for cancellation.
