Breif Description Of The Program : It’s a world-famous holi mahotsav in the tribal district of nandurbar. It is played at the village ‘kathi’ in akkalkuva tq of the district. thousands of tribals visit and take part in the festival. The bamboo is brought from the ‘daang’ forest in gujrat state. The festival is very colourful in nature. People from gujrat and madhya pradesh come to visit the festival.
Day wise Schedule:
Day 1 : Reporting at nandurbar on 22nd march 2024 till 18:00 hrs. tea & biscuits. dinner at nandurbar. stay.
Day 2 : Breakfast between 7:00 hrs to 8:00 hrs. at 8:30 hrs proceed to prakasha kashi viswanath temple. spend 1 hr. Proceed to the hill station of toranmal. reach toranmal by 12:00 hrs. Stay at torna hotel. Lunch between 13:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs. local sightseeing, boating, etc. at toranmal. Dinner. stay at toranmal.
Day 3 : After breakfast, proceed to toranmal sightseeing. after lunch proceed bhogdari. rest between 15:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs. An early dinner at 18:00 hrs. departure for rajwadi kathi holi. enjoy the festival throughout the night till 5:00 hrs in the next morning.
Day 4 : After tea proceed to nandurbar. breakfast on the way to nandurbar. breaks
Who can Participate: 10 years to 60 years. All below 18 & above 60 years should submit an interim bond.
